Arsanjan is a city located in central Iran, about 70 kilometers from the city of Shiraz. Around Arsanjan we can find desert expanses, dried up lakes, ancient streams, valleys and rocky mountains, but also cultivated fields thanks to the presence of numerous streams that allow the cultivation of fruit and vegetables. This is an area of Iran where the population density is not very high, therefore light pollution is very low, especially in the valleys separated from side to side by several small mountain ranges. It is therefore possible to observe planets, stars and the Milky Way in an exceptional way throughout the year. There are not many hotels, but it is possible to stay in the area providing hotel facilities with different price ranges.
